IDEA WILL LAUNCH CHEAP MOBILE SHORTLY
Telecom company Idea Cellular said on Friday that it has been working
with handset manufacturing companies to reduce the cost of mobile
phones. However, the company has made it clear that this proposed
handset will not be subsidized mobiles.
Aditya Birla Group company Idea's merger is going to happen in Vodafone. Idea MD Himanshu Kapaniya has given this information to analysts. He said that the company has worked towards reducing the price of mobile handsets. Kapaniya said that the ideal price for a handset would be 2500 rupees.
It is worth mentioning that in the last few days, Reliance has announced that it will provide 4G phones in free by taking a security deposit of 1500 rupees.
